6 years ago, I was where you are – working in retail full-time and knowing that there was something more out there for me. 

When I had my son, my husband and I sold our house and moved into an airstream so we could travel full-time while I was on maternity leave (as one does, right?). Our goal was to adventure to as many national parks as we could.

While we were in Yosemite, I saw an elopement happen right in front of my eyes. I watched as the photographer was doing her thing and I knew right away, “this is exactly what I need to be doing.” 

So I bought a camera and a lens kit and took a beginner’s elopement photography course. When my maternity leave was up, I went back to retail and spent some time working that job and building my elopement and wedding photography business on the side.

Now I am the mother to four beautiful red heads and love photography more than ever before.
