Eloping is all about simplifying the wedding experience while still creating unforgettable memories. If you’re looking for the perfect place to say “I do” in a peaceful, picturesque, and intimate setting, Door County, Wisconsin should be at the top of your list. Known for its stunning landscapes, charming small towns, and romantic ambiance, Door County […]

Desert elopements are always so magical. I love the warm breeze that makes couples’ wedding attire look flowy and dreamy in photos. I love when the dark red desert sand stains the bottom of white wedding dresses or dirties the soles of couples’ hiking boots. Desert elopement Sunsets are breathtaking, and the Sunrises are even […]

Sedona is known as the relaxation hub of the West. With rejuvenating resorts, incredible outdoor activities, boutique shopping, and indulgent restaurants for foodies, there’s no wonder why it’s continuously voted one of the best travel destinations in the U.S. While its year-round warm weather is certainly an enticing enough reason to consider it for your […]

Along with 5 breathtaking National Parks, Utah is home to beautiful dark starry skies, snow-capped mountain ranges, shimmering lakes, white salt flats, misty waterfalls, vast canyons, and unique rock formations. The state also offers various adventurous outdoor activities, making it one of the best places to elope in the United States. As an elopement photographer, […]

Colorado is home to some of the most beautiful mountain peaks in the U.S. It’s also full of wildflower meadows, waterfalls, ski slopes, mile-high hiking trails, sand dunes, streams, cozy cabins, campsites, and much more. Many couples decide to plan a reception after their elopement, whether it’s hours, days, or months after the ceremony. This guide will tell you how to plan a reception after your elopement, with some tips and […]

Colorado is one of the most beautiful places to elope in the world. One of my favorite things about eloping in Colorado is couples’ options to legally marry one another without witnesses or an officiant present! Only a handful of other states in the U.S. legally permit self-solemnization, but Colorado’s process is by far the […]
There’s nothing better than getting outside – and being able to exchange vows and marry your best friend in a beautiful outdoor location is one of the absolute most magical things about eloping! But, the truth is that we humans can cause a lot of damage to the environment, without meaning to or even realizing […]
BEHIND THE LENS
Here for all you couples in love doing things your own way
But before you tell me all about it (and seriously, I want to hear all the details), how about some credentials? I have been a photographer for 6 years. I have traveled all over the US for weddings and elopements. Today, I focus on intentional, romantic weddings and elopements for couples getting married in Door County and Green Bay. But although my frequent flier miles aren’t what they used to be, I still travel for select weddings. If you’re dreaming up a destination wedding in Alaska, Oregon, Iceland or Italy, let’s chat.
